Now hiring: we are hiring a milling machinist in Hartlepool, England. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift On a typical shift you will load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. We offer £125 per day plus benefits.
