Now hiring: milling machinist (Georgia)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a milling machinist in Walker County, Georgia. The job is at a fabrication and machining plant. What we are looking for: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces On the job you will handle: • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. $2,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
