Now hiring: long-haul driver (Illinois)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a long-haul driver in Scott County, Illinois. You will be based at a container freight yard. Ideal candidate: • Current Driver CPC qualification card • Valid digital tachograph card • Willing to take on night and multi-day trips The role involves: • Log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards • Check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits • Operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
