Framing carpenter • Mason County, Illinois

Great opportunity: we are hiring a framing carpenter in Mason County, Illinois. You will work in a bespoke joinery workshop. You will check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level; lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring; glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together; erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet. Ideal candidate: • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
