Now hiring: punch press operator (England)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a punch press operator in Knowsley, England. You will work at a busy press shop. Your main tasks: • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely What we are looking for: • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes 3+ years on the tools preferred.
