Vacancy available: we are hiring an escalator technician in Maru, Zamfara State. You will work on a lift modernisation project. Your main tasks: • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands Ideal candidate: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
