Now hiring: bread and bun maker (Kansas)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a bread and bun maker in Saline County, Kansas. You will work in a hotel pastry kitchen. Day-to-day duties: • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Roll out short-crust and biscuit dough • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards What we are looking for: • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Basic cake decorating and piping skills Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
