Finishing plasterer — Cedar County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a finishing plasterer in Cedar County, Iowa. You will work at a plastering and dry lining contractor. The role involves set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work; check walls for plumb and level as you go; dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming; mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency. Requirements: • Reliable timekeeping and a strong work ethic • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
