Earthmoving equipment operator — Hamilton County

Join our team: we are hiring an earthmoving equipment operator in Hamilton County, Tennessee. You will be based on a quarry floor. Day to day you will cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes; clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin; backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid; operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site; carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine Six days a week, one day off.
