Now hiring: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Ila, Osun State. What we are looking for: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings The role involves prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
