Great opportunity: cook (Virginia)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a cook in Henry County, Virginia. You will work at a busy restaurant kitchen. Day-to-day duties: • Follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes • Plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service • Follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces • Check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down • Prepare the mise en place before each service • Label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in What we are looking for: • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat • Good teamwork and clear communication under pressure • Strong knife skills and speed on the line $3,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
