Now hiring: we are hiring a presser in Zango, Katsina State. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets On a typical shift you will fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; give each garment a final press before packing; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
