You should bring sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing; good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones; physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites. On the job you will handle: • Grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter • Lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains • Carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels 1+ years on the tools preferred.
