Garden maintenance worker • Delaware County, Iowa

Vacancy available: we are hiring a garden maintenance worker in Delaware County, Iowa. Your main tasks: • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds • Rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers • Repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings • Apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds Ideal candidate: • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • Valid driving licence for travel between sites Six days a week, one day off.
