Gantry crane operator • Manchester, England

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Manchester, England. The job is at a precast concrete yard. Day to day you will carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; read and interpret the load chart before every lift; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone. You should have: • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
