Now hiring: we are hiring a core maker in Tarka, Benue State. The job is on the moulding line. Your main tasks: • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring You should have: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
