Sand plant operator — Wasatch County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Wasatch County, Utah. Day-to-day duties: • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch Requirements: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding 4+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
