Steel erection rigger — Buji

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Buji, Jigawa State. You will work at a shipyard. You should have: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness The role involves direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; read lift plans and method statements before starting; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift. Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
