Steel erection rigger wanted in Bailey County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Bailey County, Texas. The job is at a container port. Ideal candidate: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket The role involves: • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear We offer $3,500 per month plus benefits.
