Now hiring: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Isin, Kwara State. The job is on a bridge and infrastructure project. What we are looking for: • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • A good head for heights for tower crane work The role involves: • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
