Now hiring: we are hiring a crane rigger in Gokana, Rivers State. You should have: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear The role involves calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; read lift plans and method statements before starting; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists. ₦250,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
