Hoist operator wanted in Pennington County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a hoist operator in Pennington County, Minnesota. You will be based at a container port and shipping yard. Ideal candidate: • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts You will hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; read and interpret the load chart before every lift; keep a safe distance from overhead power lines; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; work out the load weight and the lifting radius; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity. 6+ years on the tools preferred.
