Great opportunity: we are hiring a plastering hand in Bryan County, Georgia. What we are looking for: • Able to mix plaster to the right consistency by feel • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents Day-to-day duties: • Set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work • Dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming • Polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush • Float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge • Skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
