We are recruiting: we are hiring a tandoor cook in Saline County, Nebraska. The job is in a hotel kitchen. Requirements: • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen • Able to read and follow recipes and dockets • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards On the job you will handle: • Label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in • Marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases • Follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes • Knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha • Chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat • Prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch We offer $3,000 per month plus benefits. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
