Banksman — Doma

Now hiring: we are hiring a banksman in Doma, Nasarawa State. You will be based in a steel fabrication yard. Day-to-day duties: • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller You should have: • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles Full-time with occasional weekends.
