Port container crane operator — Mason County

Join our team: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Mason County, Washington. The job is at a shipbuilding yard. The role involves: • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control What we are looking for: • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • A good head for heights for tower crane work At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. $4,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
