Argon welding operator • Obowo, Imo State

We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Obowo, Imo State. The job is at an automotive body and exhaust shop. Day-to-day duties: • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut You should have: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around ₦6,000 per day, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
