Lift mechanic • Apapa, Lagos State

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a lift mechanic in Apapa, Lagos State. You will be based on a high-rise construction site. The role involves: • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands Ideal candidate: • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota Full-time, day shift.
