Vacancy available: we are hiring a pressman in Kwande, Benue State. What we are looking for: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment The role involves: • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
