Immediate opening: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in Hamilton County, Ohio. The job is at a busy fabrication workshop. On the job you will handle: • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks What we are looking for: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection Rotating shifts.
