Requirements: • Knowledge of pre-treatment and phosphating process • Comfortable working in a masked, ventilated booth • Can read film thickness gauges and colour codes Day-to-day duties: • Record batch numbers, oven temperatures and coating thickness • Check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns • Mask off threads, holes and machined faces with caps and tape • Keep parts properly earthed so the powder transfers well • Hang components on jigs and conveyor hooks for even coverage Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. ₹32,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
