Now hiring: we are hiring a garment presser in Ivo, Ebonyi State. The job is at a dry cleaner's. You should have: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine On the job you will handle: • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents ₦220,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
