Gantry crane operator • Madison County, Nebraska

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Madison County, Nebraska. Day-to-day duties: • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. $2,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
