Foundry labourer • Patani, Delta State

Immediate opening: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Patani, Delta State. You will work in a non-ferrous casting shop. On a typical shift you will check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces. Requirements: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
