Great opportunity: we are hiring a press machine operator in Daviess County, Kentucky. The role involves: • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges Ideal candidate: • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
