Articulated lorry driver • Saint Clair County, Illinois

We are recruiting: we are hiring an articulated lorry driver in Saint Clair County, Illinois. You will work at a haulage company. On the job you will handle: • Plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules • Complete delivery notes, CMR paperwork and proof-of-delivery • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits • Reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays • Secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars • Carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off Requirements: • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules • Current Driver CPC qualification card • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence Meals and transport allowance provided.
