Ladle pourer • Maru, Zamfara State

We are recruiting: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Maru, Zamfara State. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings Day-to-day duties: • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects We offer ₦185,000 per month plus benefits.
