Immediate opening: horizontal milling machine operator (Florida)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Pinellas County, Florida. You will be based at a busy machine shop. On the job you will handle: • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges What we are looking for: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work We offer $3,000 per month plus benefits.
