Vacancy available: we are hiring a meat cutter in Bristol County, Rhode Island. The job is in a hotel or restaurant butchery. The role involves: • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Season and marinate meat on request What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler Full-time, day shift.
