Meat trimmer wanted in Baldwin County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a meat trimmer in Baldwin County, Alabama. You will work at an abattoir or slaughterhouse. On a typical shift you will keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; season and marinate meat on request; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife. You should have: • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry Part-time with flexible hours.
