Day-to-day duties: • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat • Set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work • Clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets • Fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads • Check walls for plumb and level as you go • Dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming You should bring proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish; CSCS card or willing to obtain one; own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets.
