Now hiring: we are hiring a head baker in Pinal County, Arizona. You will be based at a busy bakery. Requirements: • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • Basic cake decorating and piping skills The role involves: • Roll out short-crust and biscuit dough • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel • Rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
