Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas pipe fitter in Okpe, Delta State. Ideal candidate: • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders The role involves: • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation 2+ years on the tools preferred.
