Requirements: • Accurate at weighing and following recipes • Able to work early-morning and night shifts • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics The role involves: • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards • Score the top of loaves before baking • Pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer Overtime paid at a premium rate.
