Port container crane operator • Will County, Illinois

Great opportunity: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Will County, Illinois. You will be based on a high-rise tower crane. Requirements: • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • A good head for heights for tower crane work On the job you will handle: • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground 4+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $2,500 per month, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Share your details and we will call you back.
