Gtaw welder — Hernando County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Hernando County, Florida. The job is on an industrial construction site. On the job you will handle: • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle What we are looking for: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
