Join our team: framing carpenter (Kano State)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a framing carpenter in Tofa, Kano State. You will work at a kitchen and furniture manufacturer. The role involves finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain; measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge; build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions; fix studwork and plasterboard partitions; hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet. Requirements: • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings 4+ years on the tools preferred. ₦195,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
