Great opportunity: we are hiring an abattoir worker in Bexar County, Texas. The job is at an abattoir or slaughterhouse. Your main tasks: • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone Requirements: • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate 5+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
