Requirements: • Good teamwork and clear communication under pressure • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen • Willing to work split shifts, weekends and public holidays Day-to-day duties: • Marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases • Prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch • Taste and adjust seasoning for consistency • Plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service • Follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
