Prep cook — Grimes County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a prep cook in Grimes County, Texas. You will work at a busy restaurant kitchen. What we are looking for: • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen • Food hygiene / FoSTaC certificate • Strong knife skills and speed on the line Your main tasks: • Label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in • Marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases • Manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs • Follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces • Keep the station clean and sanitised throughout the shift We offer $2,900 per month plus benefits.
